Following the release of his debut album, Cold Beer & Country Music, in April 2024, Zach Top saw a major spike in demand for his live shows and his popularity has only grown stronger since. So, it’s no surprise that when he announced his 2025 headlining tour, it sold out fast, leaving many fans disappointed they couldn’t snag a ticket. Now, he’s hoping to rectify the situation with an even bigger headline tour this fall.
The rising country star recently appeared on an episode of the Rodeo Time Podcast, where he acknowledged the gratitude he has for the incredibly positive response he’s received from music lovers.
“Kind of feels like when we put the first record out back in April last year, felt like that was a big turning point and all of a sudden just everything was selling out and we couldn’t play anywhere without it impact out. So It’s been really fun,” he shared.

“We’ll Keep Coming Back Around”
As a token of thanks for their support, Top went on to tease that he will be embarking on another tour this fall, that will find him playing bigger venues, thus giving more fans the chance to experience his nostalgic sound live.
“I think we underestimated the demand there was for tickets and almost kind of got some people a little angry about it,” he explained. “It’s like we didn’t give enough people a chance to come see me, but we’re going to do another tour in the fall where we’ll play some bigger venues and stuff, do some small arenas and stuff like that. So we’ll keep coming back around. Folks don’t need to worry.”
Top then assured his listeners that he plans to be around the industry for many more years to come, meaning there will hopefully be plenty of opportunities in the future to see him on stage.
“This ain’t a one and done thing. We’re going to be around for 40 years, hopefully. Cross our fingers,” the 27-year-old added.
Top Reflects On Becoming “The Throwback Guy”
Top is among the many artists trying to make a name for themselves right now, but he has stood out among the rest for his signature sound that’s representative of the beloved country acts of the ‘90s. As he explained on the podcast, the genre of country music is an ever-changing landscape that’s seen various shifts over the years, from bro country to pop country and more and to him, it’s clear that listeners are once again craving that traditional country sound. While Top never explicitly set out to be the act to revive this era of country music, his small-town roots and authenticity have naturally positioned him as a trailblazer for the movement.
“At some point people, I feel like country fans, especially, maybe different than other genres, never forget the roots and traditions of where the music came from. And so at some point it’s kind of like, let’s get back to center a little bit maybe. So I feel like, yeah, I just happened to show up at the right time. It was no calculated decision to, I’m going to be the throwback guy. That’s just all I know how to do,” he shared honestly.
While we wait to hear more about this yet-to-be-announced fall tour, fans can find Zach Top headlining his Cold Beer & Country Music Tour from now until May. The sold-out trek brings Top across North America with stops in Boston, MA, New York, NY, Starkville, MS and more. He is joined by supporting acts Cole Goodwin, Jake Worthington and Lauren Watkins on select dates.
