Shaboozey Hints at Possible Collaboration With Morgan Wallen: ‘Stuff’s Comin’!’

Could a Shaboozey and Morgan Wallen collaboration be on the horizon?

The five-time GRAMMY nominee, who took the stage during the 67th Annual GRAMMY Awards on Sunday, opened up about what’s next for him and teased that he might have a collaboration with a country superstar in the works.

While chatting with Billboard backstage at Music’s Biggest Night, Shaboozey teased, “Stuff’s comin’, man, stuff’s comin’” when asked about a collab with Wallen.

“He shot me a text the other day and it’s just good that he’s doing good, taking care of himself, putting out some new music that I feel the world is excited about… and ready for,” Shaboozey shared.

In a previous interview with Billboard, Shaboozey called Wallen a “legend.”

“He’s someone that makes great music and music that connects with a lot of people,” the Virginia native said. “So as a country artist, someone who loves his space and I pay respect. And Morgan, I met Morgan and he was a good homie. There was even conversations about him jumping on the record early on and it’s cool again. It’s cool to just be able to know these people, honestly.”

While Shaboozey didn’t have a chance to work with Wallen on his 2024 record, Where I’ve Been, Isn’t Where I’m Going, it sounds like there’s a chance the artists can team up on his next project.

“I’m so excited about it [my upcoming music],” he told Billboard. “I feel like I’m now coming into my own. This [Grammy Awards] is just an extra treat on top of everything I’ve done so far in my career. I can’t wait to keep it going.”

Where I’ve Been, Isn’t Where I’m Going features his 19-week Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 smash “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” and was released on May 31, 2024. The 12-track collection also features collaborations with Paul Cauthen, Noah Cyrus, and BigXthaPlug.

Shaboozey has been on a whirlwind ride following the success of “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” and is showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon.

Shaboozey - Good News

His latest single, “Good News,” continues to make waves. The song is another standout in Shaboozey’s catalog, blending his signature sound and raw emotion with longtime collaborators Nevin Sastry and Sean Cook. With heartfelt vocals reflecting struggle and hope, set against acoustic guitar, fiddle, and pedal steel, the song delivers a powerful message for anyone persevering through hard times.

Shaboozey is set to take his music overseas with a major European tour, featuring stops in Paris, Berlin, London, and more.
