Katie “KT” Smith, who was previously engaged to Morgan Wallen, is single again. The social media influencer confirmed that she and her husband Luke Scornavacco have split after just nine months of marriage.
Scornavacco has been missing from her content in recent weeks, and on Tuesday, Smith revealed the reason.
“As difficult as it is to share this, I know that a lot of you guys have been invested in our relationship since we used to post together a lot at the beginning of our relationship,” she wrote in a graphic shared on Instagram stories.
She shared the marriage update after the couple received numerous messages questioning their time apart.
“I wanted to give you an update.. especially since we’ve both been hounded with questions. And that’s totally understandable. Luke and I have decided to separate,” she revealed.
The couple invited fans into the early stages of their relationship, frequently sharing personal moments of their love life on TikTok. They documented their engagement in March 2024 and, just a week later, announced their marriage through a photoshoot featuring the pair alongside Indigo Wilder, Smith’s son with Wallen.
“Swipe for a surprise,” Smith captioned the post announcing their marriage.
She also called out users who accused her of being pregnant and promised to block everyone who left negative comments.
“Just know if you like a comment about me being pregnant that someone else leaves you’re getting blocked too and then you won’t be able to see my negative test in the morning when i post it,” she commented.
Following their marriage, KT and Luke made videos recapping their hauls at places like Target and Trader Joe’s, showed off their outfits, and made cooking videos.

While they were public with their relationship, Smith said that they plan to keep their breakup out of the public eye.
“We won’t be sharing about it, because there truly isn’t much to share. we both have to do what’s best for us, as well as Indigo, while he’s still as young as he is,” she wrote.
She insisted that there is “nothing but love on both sides” and that “neither party has done anything wrong.”
In closing, Smith shared, “We just haven’t worked out in a while, and we both need to be the best version of ourselves.” She said they will be “rooting each other on from a distance” in the future.
KT Smith and Morgan Wallen were together on and off from 2016 to 2019. The former couple, who were once engaged, share a 4-year-old son, Indigo Wilder.
