Keith Urban Spots Kids’ Signs In Crowd, Invites Them Onstage for Unforgettable Moment

Keith Urban shared an unforgettable moment with a couple of very special fans during a recent show at the Fontainebleau in Las Vegas. While performing for a sold-out crowd, the country star noticed two young fans named Connor and Emma and their parents holding lit-up signs in the crowd. Being the incredibly kind artist that he is, Urban invited all four of them on stage and granted a few of their wishes.

A set of videos shared to TikTok by the family chronicles the unforgettable night through the eyes of each of the kids. Connor and Emma are captured heading to the concert in their Keith Urban merch with mini guitars in hand. They also came equipped with posters that had their names at the top followed by three dreams that they hoped Urban would fulfill during the show. Their wish lists included snagging a guitar pick, getting chosen to receive a guitar and snapping a selfie with the “Straight Line” singer.

As the night unfolded, they were seen standing on their seats, singing and dancing along to the songs while strumming their play guitars. Then, Urban stopped the show to let them know how impressed he was by their bold signs and then offered to have them all join him on stage.

He kneeled down to their level, shared a hug and took a moment to get to know the kids. Their brief conversation revealed that the family had traveled from outside Sacramento, CA just to see Urban perform in Sin City for Emma’s first concert and Connor’s fifth concert (the first being in utero).

When handed the mic and asked about his favorite Keith Urban song, the young boy was quiet for a few moments before proudly shouting, “Where The Blacktop Ends,” to which Urban responded saying he has “good taste.” He proceeded to ask Emma the same question, but only received a few adorable giggles in response. While Emma and Connor’s mom, who goes by the username Rosy Wild, told Country Now that the young girl tends to take a while to warm up to people, that was not the case for Keith Urban. She instantly took a liking to the country star and would have “stayed on stage the rest of the night if he let her,” Rosy admitted.

“It didn’t take long for her to make up her mind about Keith Urban…She would have twirled around dancing and singing to his songs like we do in our home during our weekly dance/jam sessions to Keith Urban,” she shared.

The family snapped a few photos with the Australian native, got their guitars autographed and then went back to their seats to enjoy the rest of the setlist, which included Connor’s pick, “Where The Blacktop Ends.”

Urban shared moments from the sweet encounter to his social pages as well, noting in the caption that he would do “anything for Connor and Emma.”

While reflecting on the whirlwind evening, Rosy made sure to express how grateful they are to Urban for taking the time to go above and beyond to make it a memorable experience for her and her family.

“When Keith Urban read our son’s out loud, I was just so appreciative. We never imagined he would invite us up on stage, make our kid’s dreams come true giving us core family memories to last a lifetime. We are so thankful for all the time he spent with our children and to his fans who were right there along side our family cheering them on. The entire experience has left us on a High, which seems fitting as he sets to begin his next tour,” she shared humbly.

Urban’s kindness has clearly left his mark on Connor, especially, who told his parents in the days following the concert that for his birthday gift this year, he wants to learn how to play guitar “for real.”

Rosy recalled asking him, “oh you want to take guitar lessons so you can learn how to play like Keith Urban?” to which Connor responded, “Yeah but I’ll never be as good as Keith Urban. He’s the best guitar player in the whole wide world.”

She concluded by stating that while this will be a hard show to top, they are certain that it won’t be their last Keith Urban concert.

This night took place as part of Keith Urban’s run at the Fontainebleau, where he spent Valentine’s Day doing what he loves most. He returned to Vegas to continue his residency on Feb 19 and then wrapped the run of five dates on Saturday, Feb. 22.

On May 22, Urban will make his return to touring after a three-year hiatus with his highly anticipated 2025 HIGH AND ALIVE WORLD TOUR. The trek kicks off in Orange Beach, Alabama and is set to feature special guests Chase MatthewAlana Springsteen, and Karley Scott Collins.
