HARDY is currently has no tour scheduled for 2025 as he is preparing to welcome his first child with his wife, Caleigh, in February. That being said, he’s assured fans that he’s not stepping away from music entirely over these next few months. It has been confirmed that a new album is already in the works as HARDY recently teased a deeply personal track titled “Buck On The Wall,” that will appear on the upcoming project.
In a new Instagram post, the “wait in the truck” singer is captured holding one of his proud trophies from this deer hunting season. From the photo alone, it would seem like this is just another opportunity to showcase his pride for the sport, however his caption reveals there is much more to the story.
“I’ve got a song on my next record called ‘Buck On The Wall’ that perfectly describes this deer and the story behind it,” he began.
The hitmaker went on to explain that the unreleased tune “Buck On The Wall” was inspired by his late grandfather who he has greatly missed throughout this hunting season as it is the first one without him. As HARDY mentions at the end of his message, there is a second slide attached to the post that features a heartwarming image of him with one arm over his grandmother and a successful kill laid in the truck bed next to them.
He continued, “Some of you know, but my grandfather passed away a year ago. In 1989 he built our family a little cabin which we have used as our deer camp for the last 35 years, where there are 30-40 bucks mounted on the wall. This fall/winter season is the first one he hasn’t been a part of, and I wish so bad he could’ve seen this deer, but I’m damn proud to keep our family tradition alive and keep putting bucks on the walls that he built. So this one’s for him. Slide 2 is my grandmother, his wife. Love you Pop.”
‘Live From Red Rocks’ Album Confirmed
There is no confirmed release date for the forthcoming album, but HARDY’s latest post indicates that he has also been working on a live collection that would include tracks recorded during his back-to-back performances at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado last fall.
HARDY also has a few festival dates on the books beginning in April, but the majority of his time will likely be focused on raising his baby girl with his wife. The pair shared the news publicity on Tuesday, October 15, with collaborative post on featuring an adorable photoshoot of the parents-to-be in a scenic farm setting.
The caption reads, “You have been our favorite little secret to keep 🍼 🙏🏻 Baby Hardy coming February 2025 🤍.”
With all of this news, 2025 is shaping up to be a big year for HARDY, personally and professionally.
