Priscilla Block’s ‘Yard Sale’ and ‘I Couldn’t Care Less’ Showcase Her Range of Raw, Honest Storytelling

Priscilla Block has always made it her mission to deliver music that encourages listeners to stay true to themselves, and she plans to carry that mission forward with her forthcoming new album.

Fans have recently gotten a glimpse into what’s to come from the songstress in 2025 through teasers of unreleased songs she’s shared on stage and across social media. One that has quickly gained momentum as a stand-out tune is “Yard Sale.”

The song started to cause a buzz online due to its anthemic sound that’s perfect for anyone looking to get over a bad case of heartbreak. It also captures the kind of raw, relatable storytelling fans crave, and that is something Priscilla Block has mastered within her catalog.

The Story Behind The Song

With “Yard Sale,” the North Carolina native cleverly sings from the perspective of a scorned woman who decides that the best way to get rid of her ex’s stuff is to simply sell it in a good old fashioned yard sale.

“‘Yard sale’ is just such a vibe of a song. It’s about just selling someone’s stuff when they’re not acting right. It’s like, I am not going to box your stuff up and leave it on the porch. I’m actually going to make money off of it. And if you want it, you should better show up with some cash,” Priscilla told Country Now of the inspiration behind the song.

This song once again proves that Priscilla isn’t afraid to invite fans into her real-life and put her authentic self on display. She went on to joke about the fact that she considers herself to be “the yard sale girl,” and has been working to perfect her methods of dumpster diving “since the day I was born.”

“I love a good thrifty find. I feel like the cool thing about yard sales is when people are like, ‘where did you get that?’ It’s truly one of a kind. I love a good find, a good fishing pole, some camo, some old school camo. That’s always nice,” she added.

“Yard Sale” will be released on March 21 and is available for pre-save now.

Opening Up About Her True Emotions In “I Couldn’t Care Less”

Fans who attended the latest Country Now LIVE showcase in Nashville got to experience this song live, as well as another new song that takes on a more serious tone. The emotional ballad titled “I Couldn’t Care Less” captures Priscilla’s reflection on life in the spotlight, where she’s expected to put on a happy front despite sometimes feeling the exact opposite behind the scenes.

“I posted a picture, and it got a bunch of likes/ That ‘she should lose weight’ comment kept me up all night/ I hit reply and made a little light of what they said like I couldn’t care less,” she sings in the opening verse.

The same vulnerability continues throughout the entire song and really hits home on the chorus. “Like it don’t mean something/ Like to me it’s nothing/ Like I do my best to tune it out, shut the door/ Like I couldn’t care less/ But I couldn’t care more,” Priscilla delivers.

Before performing this track, Priscilla sat down and had an honest conversation with her audience about this experience, sharing how the past two years especially have been “a little difficult.” She explained that these deeply honest lyrics are a reflection of where she’s been over the past two years, mentally.

“I feel really honored that I’m in a place where people can hopefully feel inspired to love themselves a little bit more or feel more confident because they found my music and they somehow relate,” she explained. “But I feel like I hear this all the time where people are like, ‘I love how confident you are, and I love how unapologetically you are.’ And I kind of just got to thinking. I was like, I feel like sometimes I always have to be like that…just so you guys know, I’m not always confident and I’m not always unapologetically me. Some days I have really, really hard days and there’s some days that I wonder what the hell I’m doing and all the things.”

Priscilla Block’s songwriting is a masterclass in vulnerability and authenticity, and “I Couldn’t Care Less” is no exception.

As fans await new music from the chart-topping star, they can catch her bringing her rowdy energy and genuine storytelling to her headlining shows across the country.

Throughout the first few performances of the year, she’s also made it a point to live in the moment and take a mental note of the fans who have stood out in her shows for various reasons. She then calls out these audience members in a recap post on Instagram as a way to remember the special moments, and also to thank her fans for their unwavering support.

“So I actually thought of this idea this past weekend on the road, and I feel like a lot of people don’t read captions anymore because they’ll get lengthy and you’re just kind of scrolling. And I was like, what if I put my caption kind of just within the pictures? There’s so many special people every single night that stand out to me and you are just kind of onto the next show and you remember it that night and then you’re doing the next thing. And this is almost like a diary for me to remember each show and certain things that just stuck out to me,” she explained.

“I just feel like I have the best fans in the world and it’s really, it’s cool. It just literally came out of kind of nowhere. I was like, I’m just going to write a little letter to the fans every single night.”

Her next performance is set to take place on March 6 in Tallahassee, Florida. For a complete list of upcoming tour dates, visit PrisicllaBlock.com.
