Eric Church Will Build 100 Homes for North Carolina Hurricane Victims

Eric Church is making a huge impact with his charity, Chief Cares. His foundation recently purchased land in Avery County, North Carolina, with the goal of building 100 homes for families displaced by Hurricane Helene last year.

The initiative, called “Blueprint for Blue Ridge,” is set to break ground in April, with plans to have 40 homes move-in ready by June. Church spoke about the importance of stepping up for those in need, saying, “Any time a community needs help, it’s always the community next door that comes running to help. [But] they’ve all been devastated. So, we’ve made it our mission at Chief Cares to be that community next door.”

This isn’t the first time Eric has shown his commitment to helping his home state. He’s already donated all proceeds from his song “Darkest Hour” to recovery efforts in North Carolina. And, alongside Luke Combs, he helped raise over $24 million through the Concert for Carolina.

With this latest project, Eric Church continues to prove that his heart is just as big as his music career. Stay tuned for updates as Blueprint for Blue Ridge takes shape!
