Shaboozey was set to make his Grand Ole Opry debut on Friday in honor of Dolly Parton’s 79th birthday, but unforeseen circumstances have postponed his highly anticipated performance. Due to the devastating wildfires in California, Shaboozey had to evacuate his home, putting his long-awaited debut on hold.
The Grand Ole Opry expressed their support on Twitter, saying, *”Our thoughts are with Shaboozey, Los Angeles, and the surrounding communities during this time.”* While Shaboozey’s debut will have to wait, the Opry’s celebration of Dolly Parton’s birthday will still go on as planned. Stay tuned for updates on when Shaboozey will take the iconic Opry stage. For now, we send our thoughts to everyone affected by the wildfires.
Due to the ongoing wildfire crisis in Los Angeles and evacuation from his LA home, @ShaboozeysJeans will be rescheduling his Opry debut to occur at a later date.
