Lainey Wilson’s Stanley Tumbler Survives House Fire

One TikTok user has just proved that Lainey Wilson’s 2023 collaboration with the iconic food and drinkware brand, Stanley, has been built to stand the test of time (or at least a house fire).

Alexus Wilkins shared a short video on social media, showing herself walking through the remains of her and her fiancé Hunter Pittman’s home, which was destroyed by a fire on January 4. The couple, along with Hunter’s grandmother, and a dog named Tinley all made it out unharmed, however several of their beloved dachshunds were not able to be rescued. Unfortunately, almost everything left inside the home was charred, covered in charcoal and unrecognizable, but there was one particular item that made it through the burning flames nearly unscathed – the “Country Gold” tumbler.

“When your house burns down and you go back to find one specific thing…,” the text read in reference to the popular cup.

The exclusive 40oz Quencher H2.0 FlowState™ Tumbler was coated in a layer of ash, but the deep burgundy base and flecks of gold shimmer on the base still shined through and there was no sign of melting of the rubber handle or even the plastic straw. With a swift cleaning, it appears that the cup would be as good as new.

Country Now reached out to Wilkins about the recent video and learned that this cup ended up being the spark of positivity she needed amid the tragedy of losing her home and everything inside.

“My fiancé bought this cup for me as soon as it went on sale. I am a big Lainey fan, as well as we love COUNTRY music. When my fiancé called me back into the house I knew it was important, and it sure was. The cup was one of the only things that survived,” she shared. “I just want everyone to know GOD and COUNTRY MUSIC are still ALIVE!!!!”

This wouldn’t be the first time a Stanley product has made waves online. Back in 2023, a woman named Danielle went viral on TikTok for showcasing the aftermath of a major car fire with the only surviving item being her Stanley Tumbler. Not only was the cup only slightly damaged, but it miraculously also still had ice inside.

“Everybody is so concerned if the Stanley spills but what else? It was in a fire yesterday and it still has ice in it,” the post read.

The video garnered millions of views and eventually caught the attention of the popular drinkware company. Stanley’s global president Terence Reilly responded to the user through the brand’s TikTok account, promising to send her more Stanley cups in addition to generously offering to replace her car.

Thanks to Alexus Wilkins’ latest video highlighting the collab with the country music superstar, Stanley’s claim that the products are “built for life” has been confirmed once again. Her clip has over 600k views so far and received over a hundred comments from shocked users.

Wilson’s “Country Gold” Stanley collab that effortlessly reflects her signature style was unveiled in November 2023 following the launch of her “Watermelon Moonshine” limited edition 40oz Quencher H2.0 FlowState™ Tumbler, which arrived in July of that year. The Louisiana native’s first-ever collaboration with the company broke records as it sold out in a whopping 11 minutes.

The “Country Gold” Stanley also became a favorite among her fanbase, but is currently not available for purchase.
