Sad news for cookie fans: The Girl Scouts of the USA have announced that two of their popular cookie offerings will be discontinued after the current cookie season, which officially began on Tuesday.

In a press release shared that morning, the organization confirmed that the 2025 cookie lineup will still feature fan favorites like Thin Mints®, Samoas®/Caramel deLites®, and Peanut Butter Patties®/Tagalongs®. However, Girl Scout S’mores® and Toast-Yay!® will be retired at the end of the 2025 season.

The statement reads, “The 2025 cookie lineup is jam-packed with the full spread of highly sought-after cookie flavors, including Thin Mints®, Samoas®/Caramel deLites®, Peanut Butter Patties®/Tagalongs®, and more. At the close of the 2025 cookie season, two beloved cookie flavors, Girl Scout S’mores® and Toast-Yay!®, will be retired.”

While it’s always hard to say goodbye to old favorites, there’s still time to stock up on Girl Scout S’mores® and Toast-Yay!® before they vanish from the cookie roster forever.
