Candidates must be organized, initiative-taking, dependable, punctual, and able to work independently. Can lead as well as follow and execute instructions effectively. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
An Assistant Promotions Director is a professional who helps stations execute promotional campaigns, manage station events, supervise employees. Additionally, this role will report directly to the Director of Marketing & Promotions and assist with daily, weekly and monthly activities as needed.
Responsibilities:
· Assisting with various promotions (concerts, festivals, live broadcasts, cluster events and roadshows, etc.) from start to finish.
· Performing basic promotions administrative duties.
· Schedule and assign Promotions Road Crew for various events.
· Assisting in all live on-air broadcasting at events.
· Operating station vehicles and loading/unloading and assembling/disassembling station equipment at events (tents, tables, etc.)
· Interacting with listeners, sponsors, and vendors.
· Assist Director of Marketing and Promotions with tasks assigned.
· Responsible for keeping the station vehicles maintenance.
Qualifications:
· Strong Written, verbal communication and organizational skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and Power Point and social media platforms.
· Valid Driver’s License with a good record and ability to drive promotional vehicles if needed.
· Must be 21 or older.
· College Degree a plus, but not required
· Must be able to lift and carry equipment, set up and break down promotional tents, hang banners and other staging elements.
