During Sunday’s blowout loss to the Detroit Lions, where the Dallas Cowboys were defeated 47 to 9, the team chose an interesting moment to announce that Lainey Wilson will be performing at their Thanksgiving Halftime Show.
Needless to say, fans weren’t too thrilled with the timing. One user commented, “Can she run the ball, or stop the run?” while another wrote, ‘”If the special guest can’t call offensive plays, I don’t want to hear it.”‘
Hopefully, the Cowboys rack up a few wins before Thanksgiving so Lainey Wilson gets a warmer reception!
