Jon Bon Jovi is gearing up to open his own Nashville Honky-Tonk.
Rolling Stone reports that JBJ’s Nashville is scheduled to open up this spring in the city’s Lower Broadway entertainment district.
He said in a statement, “We’re looking forward to having a place in Nashville that we call home. We have had wonderful times in Nashville recording several albums and working with some of the finest people in all the music business. I can’t wait to toast all of Broadway and get to know our neighbors.”
Big Plan Holdings confirmed the news on Wednesday (February 7). JBJ’s Nashville will be located at 405 Broadway, formerly Merchant’s restaurant. Per DPR Construction, 405 Broadway will be a five-story, 35,000-square-foot honky tonk, slated to include “two outdoor rooftop decks, multiple stages and a full commercial kitchen.” The venue is set to blend “seamlessly” into the Historic District on Nashville’s Lower Broadway.
He’s not the first artist to open a bar on Lower Broadway. The New Jersey-born rocker follows in the steps of country artists like Florida Georgia Line, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Jason Aldean and Dierks Bentley.
