The little raccoon’s story began Monday when several Twitter users snapped photos of this raccoon stranded on a second-story ledge in St. Paul, Minn.
Late Tuesday morning, rescuers tried to tempt the raccoon down with a long pole, but he wasn’t having it.
Instead, he hopped over to the UBS Plaza next door, and began climbing. And climbing.
My picture from the 13th floor around noon. Hope he makes it down OK! #mprraccoon pic.twitter.com/gfVWysn9iO

People from all over the world were watching as he made his way to the top
I honestly can’t believe I was cheering on a raccoon all the way from Nairobi, Kenya. Glad he/she made it to the rooftop of the UBS building in Minnesota. Well done #RockyRaccoon. What a climb it was&what an encouragement U were to us to never give up&to keep our eyes on the prize

His story has a happy ending!
The little guy reached the rooftop overnight, where live traps baited with smelly cat food awaited it.
After a delicious meal of soft cat food, #mprraccoon has been caught and will be picked up by Wildlife Management. Goodbye friend! pic.twitter.com/twcBPpjOQk
