First, everybody is fine. There were a few reports of minor injuries from those riding in the train. Overall, everyone is good to go.
Depending on how much of a headsup the train engineers had, I suppose they could’ve tried to slow the train down. I’ve heard, that it takes well over a mile for a train to stop when it’s rolling. Maybe that was the case. Also, if they know there’s something in the track, do they floor it? I have so many questions.
This incident happened in Thackerville, OK on Friday. The truck driver and his dog were a little shaken up over incident, but overall, everyone is going to be fine. Check it out!
