This month, you can treat yourself to some ice cream and help local shelter animals find fur-ever homes. All September, Mid-Atlantic Dairy Queen is donating 100 percent of “Pup Cup” sales to five area animal shelters.

Pup Cups are small cups of ice cream that customers can give to their dogs. Each costs $1.39.
