Labor Day feels a little different this year with safety measures that put a damper on backyard barbecues. But Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard is celebrating a different kind of labor as he and his wife Hayley prepare for the impending birth of their third little one.

Tyler shared a photo on Instagram of his wife who is due to give birth in a few weeks saying,

Shout out to WOMEN. All women, but especially mothers. One thing I’ve learned over the last few years is that God doesn’t let men have babies because I doubt we could actually endure all the physical and mental challenges that come along with it. I’m so amazed as I watch my hero @hayley_hubbard take on 3 pregnancies in less than 4 years as she continues to take on motherhood with such grace. I don’t know she does it but I’m thankful to have her as a teammate.

I’ve had these for each pregnancy, they just continually get worse and more painful every time. Last year I was told I needed to get them removed before I got pregnant again, but I guess God had different plans for us before I had a chance to make it to my vein removal🤷🏼‍♀️ I wish I didn’t care about how they looked, but I do. I wish they weren’t so miserably painful and itchy and throb all day & night. I wish I could be as active and on my feet as I normally am. And I wish I could wear shorts during my pregnancies without having to wear heavy duty compression socks. I’ve worn compression socks for nearly 2 years straight, all day every day. The second I found out I was pregnant with baby #3 which was very early, I put on my socks again. I don’t wear them to hide the veins, but simply to help alleviate the pain and pressure, and to prevent them from getting worse than they already are. It took me halfway through my 1st pregnancy with Olivia to start wearing socks and now I wish I had started at the beginning. I’ve had relatively normal pregnancies with nausea and all the normal discomforts, but this has been my biggest hurdle. It determines what I can and can’t do up on my feet, how much I can run around with my kids, how I dress, the list goes on. I wanted to share this for those of you that ask why I wear compression socks, but also to show how pregnancy can take its toll on a body and how strong women are. But most importantly to share some realness and that everything is not all it seems on instagram. We never know what someone may be going through so let’s just lead with kindness and empathy. 💛#varicoseveins
