Brad Paisley and Dustin Lynch are teaming up with Gratitunes. It’s a way to donate songs that doctors, nurses, and medical staff at Vanderbilt University Medical Center can access for free.
On the Gratitunes website, you can add your own song of gratitude to a playlist which will be made available to Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s COVID-19 assessment sites along with the hospital. The hope is that the music will help lessen stress and anxiety and lift spirits. After someone adds a song to the playlist, they’ll receive a special graphic that can be shared on social media with the hashtags #Gratitunes and #VUMCHeroes that will encourage others to add to the playlist as well.
Brad kicked it off yesterday with a live performance of”Southern Comfort Zone”. Dustin did his part by doing, “Love Me Or Leave Me Alone”. Other artists will be posting songs too. You can donate songs or make a contribution at Gratitunes.org.
According to Nashville Lifestyles, Over the next 30 days, a new artist each day will send a ‘Gratitune’ on their personal Instagram page including Lauren Alaina, Lindsay Ell, Sara Evans, Amy Grant, Dustin Lynch, Jewel, SMACKSongs songwriters Shane McAnally and Walker Hayes, and many others.
