In the midst of, perhaps, the biggest pandemic in American history, it’s so clear who the real heroes of this country are outside of our brave men and women who serve in our military. It’s not the hedge fund guys, it’s certainly not the politicians, it’s not bankers. So, who is it?
It’s teachers, nurses, delivery drivers, cashiers at grocery stores, doctors, restaurants. Those are the people that are keeping everything pulled together during a pandemic. Every day it seems there are more and more people looking to help and make a difference.
Here in Virginia, school is shut down for who knows how long? My son’s teacher is doing everything she can to make sure her students are keeping up with their studies and engaging them on a daily basis. I’m so impressed with what they were able to do in such a short amount of time.
Cassie Stephens, an art teacher from Tennessee is taking her love for art and broadcasting it live to her students and students all over the world. Cassie is planning to go live every weekday until schools reopen. The course is from 11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. CST on Facebook and Instagram.
