With Coronavirus on everyone’s minds, we’re all a little more aware of washing our hands now and touching our face.
Realizing basically all I do is touch my face.

We’ve also seen a LOT about the proper way to wash our hands and a lot of people are questioning why we need to be told this.
I don’t want to be presumptuous, but you can also just wash your hands even if there’s *not* some pandemic currently capturing your attention. It doesn’t have to be a special occasion.

The proper way to wash your hands is:
- Wet your hands with clean, running water (warm or cold), turn off the tap, and apply soap.
Lather your hands by rubbing them together with the soap. - Lather the backs of your hands, between your fingers, and under your nails (act like you’re scrubbing in on Grey’s Anatomy)
- Scrub your hands for at least 20 seconds.
Here’s where a lot of sites tell you to sing Happy Birthday, but a new Twitter thread has some different options.
