Carrie Underwood wasn’t at home when a tornado ripped through Nashville on Tuesday morning (March 3).
Carrie was in New York for a scheduled appearance on the Today Show. Her husband, Mike Fisher, was there with her two boys and acted quickly to make sure their family was safe. Carrie said she checked in with her friends and family first thing:
“He said he had to go upstairs at 2AM and grab the boys to take them down to — we have a little safe room in our house,” she says. “I bet everyone was crying.”
