The McDonald’s Happy Meal turns 40 this year and they’re celebrating by giving us a huge case of nostalgia.

McDonald’s is bringing back RETRO TOYS in their Happy Meals!

The toys include the cowboy, fireman, and mailman McNuggets . . . the hamburger that turns into a robot . . . Grimace . . . the Hamburglar . . . a Power Ranger . . . “Space Jam” Bugs Bunny . . . Patti the Platypus BEANIE BABY . . .

A “101 Dalmatians” toy . . . a Tamagotchi . . . My Little Pony . . . Furby . . . Sorcerer’s Apprentice Mickey Mouse . . . and Hello Kitty.

But you’ve got to get your happy meal quick because it’s only going on Thursday- Sunday November 7 through 11

I had the McNuggets as a kid and a cabinet full of the McDonald’s Smurf Glasses.

I also had all four of these:

Last year while visiting Smithfield and their annual Vintage market I found these again and had to get one!  I’m not ashamed to admit I have a glass of Cashew Milk in it every night!

I haven’t had Happy Meal since I became a vegetarian at age 12 but I may have to go order a burger without the burger for old times sake.

(PS every vegetarian knows the struggle of doing this lol)
