Thomas Rhett just proved he’s got the heart of a performer and an impressive pain tolerance to match.
Thomas recently made a surprise appearance at Forrest Frank’s sold-out show at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. The country singer was seated in the audience when the spotlight him and he began to make his way to the stage.
During his trek, Thomas tripped down the stairs, fell, and hurt his ankle.
For most people, that would be game over. But not for Thomas.
Despite the injury, he hobbled on stage and performed his entire song with Forrest Frank. Later that night, he shared a video from a wheelchair with the caption, “How I broke my ankle at a Forrest Frank concert.” In the clip, he jokes, “I gave my all to Tennessee tonight.”
Thomas later shared on his Instagram story that after getting an X-ray, he found out that it wasn’t broken, just a really bad sprain, and thanked fans for their support.
We’re wishing Thomas a speedy recovery!
