Fans are eagerly awaiting Morgan Wallen’s upcoming album I’m the Problem, but the country star has kept tight-lipped about its release date. However, he just gave fans a special preview of what’s to come—and this one is personal.
Morgan took to Instagram to share a nearly three-minute clip of his new song Superman, his first-ever song about his 4-year-old son, Indigo.
In the caption, Morgan opened up about the difficulty of writing a song for his child, saying, “Been trying for a long time to write a song I loved to my son. None of them ever feel good enough because of how perfect I want something like this to be. And not saying this is perfect, but I am very proud of it.”
The song’s first lyrics set the tone for the emotional track: “One day he’s gonna see my mug shot, from a night that I got a little too drunk.”
While there’s still no word on when I’m the Problem will drop, Superman is likely to be one of the standout tracks. Fans are already loving the heartfelt tribute, and many are hoping it will make the final cut on the album.
