Miranda Lambert recently revealed that she’ll be opening for Morgan Wallen on select dates of his I’m the Problem tour, but not all fans were happy about it.
After the announcement, Miranda took to social media to read some of the mean comments she received—because why not have a little fun with the haters? Some of the standout remarks included:
“This ain’t it, sis.”
“I’m so disappointed in both of you. May God forgive you both.”
“You’re not a side dish, you’re a main course.”
One particularly brutal comment said, “Miranda, you’re just clinging to something popular so you can try to stay relevant.” Her reaction? A solid “OUCH.”
Another fan questioned, “You should be the headliner, what’s going on?” to which Miranda jokingly responded, “It’s not wrong, but it’s not right.”
While she’ll be joining Wallen on some tour stops, fans also noticed that she won’t be with him in her home state of Texas. Instead, Koe Wetzel and Corey Kent will take the stage for those dates.
Love it or hate it, Miranda’s still having fun with the controversy.
