Matt Stell has started 2025 with a love story that could rival any Hallmark movie. Over the holiday weekend, the country star revealed that not only did he propose to his girlfriend, Kasey Harvey, but the couple also got married the very next day.
In a video posted to Instagram, Matt casually asked fans, “How was your holiday?” before dropping the big news. “Ours was great because on Friday, we were in Mexico, and we got engaged,” he said. As Kasey flashed her ring, Matt added with a smile, “That was on Friday, and on Saturday, we got married. I’m not joking. She married me on Saturday. How about them apples?”

The couple, who made their red carpet debut at the 2024 CMA Awards in November, kept the celebration private, but the news has delighted fans across social media.

Matt’s mother, Lisa, also shared her excitement about the milestone weekend on Instagram. “What an incredible weekend,” she wrote. “I’m still on cloud nine after witnessing a surprise proposal unfold, followed by an unforgettable celebration the next night. I’m beyond thrilled to welcome Kasey into our family and couldn’t be prouder of my son. Kasey’s an amazing person, and her parents are just as wonderful!”
She even called the experience “our very own romantic Hallmark movie.”
