Jelly Roll just wrapped up his incredible Beautifully Broken Tour—an unforgettable run of 58 sold-out arenas in just 13 weeks. But it wasn’t just his music that had fans talking after his final show on Tuesday night; it was his bold farewell to social media and phones altogether.
Before taking the stage for the last time, Jelly posted on TikTok with a heartfelt message: “Y’all know I have a very unhealthy relationship with social media. I have a very unhealthy relationship with phones . . . I’m taking a break.” He went on to say, “It’s been a crazy couple of years, and I love y’all so much. I’m throwing this phone out the window tonight. I’m going to go phoneless for a few months.”
And true to his word, Jelly didn’t just say it—he did it. In a dramatic video shared with fans, he was seen standing on a bridge in Nashville, hurling his phone into a river.
For an extra touch of flair, he was even FaceTiming his wife, Bunnie Xo, when the phone made its watery splashdown. Thankfully, there wasn’t a police boat nearby to turn this into a Morgan Wallen chair-gate sequel.
