Country Stars Go All Out for Halloween: From Iconic Movie Duos to a Twerking Extra Terrestrial [PICS]

Country music stars didn’t hold back this Halloween, showing up in some seriously creative costumes that had fans talking. From movie throwbacks to adorable family ensembles, here’s a look at how your favorite country artists celebrated spooky season this year.

Thomas Rhett as Fear and wife Lauren as Joy, along with the littlest Akins girls hit us in the feels with their Halloween take on the Inside Out 2 cast.

Leave it to Russell Dickerson to be so extra with his twerking extra terrestrial. This behavior is not alien to us.

Is that Woody, Buzz and the gang? No, it’s Jordan Davis and his family pulling off a believable cast of characters from the movie Toy Story.

Dan and Shay, and even Shay’s kiddos, know that Halloween is only here for a day, so they’re celebrating quick and moving on to Christmas. Hey, what about Thanksgiving.

Maddie and Tae‘s very expectant Taylor Kerr may win the prize for the best use of a prop on Halloween. She took advantage of her pregnant belly to dress as Juno MacGuff from the movie Juno, and husband Josh was a great Paulie Bleecker.

Maddie and Tae‘s Maddie Font and her family were all mixed up for the holidays. It may have been Halloween, but they looked more like National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. When Cousin Eddie is that cute, though, who cares?

Jon Pardi‘s family Halloween costume may have been last minute, but that didn’t make it any less adorable, especially on the littlest members of the boo crew.

You have to give it to Ernest. He really owned his role as Captain Hook, but a feisty Peter Pan (his son Ryman) and a gorgeous Wendy Darling (his wife Delaney) threatened to wreak havoc on the Jolly Roger.

Locash understood the Halloween assignment.

Kane Brown and his wife Katelyn mixed their Halloween horror flicks, but they still looked cute and creepy together.

Mystical, magical Brett Young‘s daughters had to be behind their family Halloween costumes. But being the consummate girl dad, he was happy to become a unicorn for the night.

We love a good celebrity-on-celebrity Halloween costume, so Lee Ann Womack‘s take on Parker McCollum is a gold chain winner for us.
