In the wake of Hurricane Helene’s devastation, country music superstar Lainey Wilson made a surprise visit to Chimney Rock Village, bringing hope and gratitude to those working tirelessly to rebuild. The singer, who performed in Raleigh and Wilmington last week, took time out of her busy schedule to personally thank the Sheriff’s Department and the Chimney Rock Village Fire Department for their incredible efforts during the aftermath of the storm.
She also brought in some “supplies” of some sort, and provided a platform for people to share the status of the recovery.
According to WRAL, “Wilson offered encouragement and thanks the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Department and Chimney Rock Village Fire Department for their work.”
