After decades of legendary contributions to music, Jimmy Buffett was finally inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, receiving the prestigious Musical Excellence Award on Saturday. Though this award is given to artists, songwriters, or producers whose influence on music is undeniable, Buffett’s fans have long considered his induction overdue.
