Kane Brown and Lauren Alaina have been friends long before they each had careers in the country music industry. They met in middle school choir and remained friends into adulthood. They even collaborated on the 2017 hit “What Ifs” on Kane’s debut album. It makes sense that fans have been wondering why Kane was noticeably absent from attending Lauren’s recent wedding.

Kane finally shared a bit more insight into why he didn’t attend the wedding. In a recent interview, he shared that he was actually undergoing a vasectomy procedure on the same day as Lauren’s wedding! Kane’s wife Katelyn is currently pregnant with their third child, and we take this procedure news to mean the Brown family will soon be complete. Lauren forgave Kane and commented on a social media post of the interview ““I forgive you @kanebrown and still love you 😂 You gotta do what you gotta do”.
