The country singer did a little pre-pregaming before his appearance as he was walking through the parking lot that morning. Somebody handed him a can of beer and he chugged it in about eight seconds flat. According to the timestamp on the video, it was 8:31 a.m.

About ten minutes earlier, Luke shared a selfie video while holding a travel mug saying, “Alright Game Day, Luke Combs here. I got a whiskey drink, a windowful of Mountaineers, and I’m about to go make my picks. Couldn’t be more excited.”
