New artist Tiera Kennedy stopped by 97.3 The Eagle to perform songs off her upcoming debut album.

The Alabama native has been hailed as “one of Nashville’s most promising young singer/songwriters” and has been named an ‘Artist to Watch’ by Teen Vogue, Nashville Lifestyles, CMT, Spotify’s Hot Country, Country Now and Sounds Like Nashville. Tiera has also earned critical acclaim from Rolling Stone, Billboard, American Songwriter, PEOPLE, E! News and more.

Her debut single, “Found It In You,” was inspired by her relationship with her husband and creative director Kamren Kennedy.

Tiera says, “I wrote this one with my producer (Cameron Bedell). It was the first song we ever wrote together, and it was a song where I feel like I found my sound. It’s got that R&B/country feel. And we just kinda sat down and he started asking me questions about my boyfriend at the time, now my husband. And I just started listing off all the things I love about him. I never would’ve thought in that moment that it would be the song that got me my record deal and is my first song at country radio. This song just has completely changed my life, and it means so much that it was kind of the song that started it all.”

Tiera and Kamren Kennedy dated for seven years before they tied the knot on October 2, 2021.
