Toby Keith opened up about his battle with cancer in a post on social media.
The country singer revealed that he was diagnosed with stomach cancer last fall writing, “I’ve spent the last 6 months receiving chemo, radiation, and surgery.”
“So far, so good. I need time to breathe, recover and relax,” he continued. “I am looking forward to spending this time with my family. But I will see the fans sooner than later. I can’t wait.”
While there are tour dates on his calendar, Billboard reports that some of those dates will be postponed.
The “Red Solo Cup” singer released his first album in five years last October called Peso In My Pocket.
