Disney’s live action version of ‘The Lion King’ is geting a prequel.
The movie’s director, Barry Jenkins, told Variety that it will be about the younger versions of brothers Mufasa and Scar.
“Kings aren’t just born, they aren’t just made. They have to become who they are through a series of events that a lot of people can relate to.”

Reviews of the first live-action remake of “The Lion King” were mixed with some fans saying that the realistic-looking CGI animals lacked the warmth and expressiveness of the cartoon versions from the original.
something that still bothers me is when disney made a 100% cg animated version of the lion king and everyone called it the ‘live action’ version, literally the whole thing exists on a computer

Did you love it or hate it?
I loved the Beauty and the Beast live action. Every other are trash. Especially that abomination of The Lion King 🙄🙄🙄
