Country newcomer Kameron Marlowe knows a thing or two about reality show competitions.
Marlowe got his start in 2018 on NBC’s The Voice when he auditioned with a Luke Combs’ song. Marlowe shared in an Instagram post that following his audition, Luke took the time to FaceTime him and offer him some encouragement.
So when the Charlotte, NC native heard that a recent American Idol contestant, Noah Thompson, auditioned using one of his songs, he decided to reach out.
“This guy right here is the man,” Marlowe wrote on social media, along with a clip of the FaceTime call. “He decided to use my song, ‘Giving You Up,’ as his audition for Season 20 of [American Idol.]”
He shared, “when I did the voice, I performed a @lukecombs song and he FaceTimed me telling me to not stop playing music and to keep driving so I felt that it was only appropriate to pay it forward and FaceTime Noah! go give my man @noahthompsonmusic a follow and be cheering him on this season, congrats buddy.”
