Jimmie Allen is joining fellow country star Luke Bryan on the new season of American Idol.
The “Freedom Was a Highway” singer will join the reality competition as a mentor to the contestants on Season 20.
He shared the news in a video filmed at Disney’s Aulani Resort & Spa in Hawaii saying, “Cannot wait for you guys to see the talent they have in store for you.”

Jimmie will share mentoring duties with pop singer and Florida Georgia Line collaborator, Bebe Rexha.
