Chris Lane sent a heartfelt message to fans Thursday (January 19th) after his father underwent surgery following a cancer diagnosis.
“Y’all, I appreciate all the prayers. My dad’s surgery went well today. He is in recovery now. We are still praying that he does well in recovery and really praying that they got it all,” Chris told his fans on Instagram late Thursday night, per People.com.
Chris went on to say, “I really appreciate everybody that’s reached out, and each and every one of you that are praying. Love y’all.”
The singer has not shared what type of cancer is dad is battling.
Chris became a Dad himself back in June of 2021. He and wife Lauren welcomed a baby boy, Dutton.
