When I first moved back to Texas in 2015, I wound up in the Texas Panhandle. I always thought it was interesting when a storm was rolling through town because the folks of the town would rush to park their vehicles underneath the overpass. For the longest time, I never knew what they were doing? Then, we had our first hail storm. I never asked questions after that.
There’s a storm on the horizon. Quick, take the Honda and park it under the overpass at Western and 34th! That’s a conversation that folks have in Texas. Either you do it, or your car will get blasted with hail the size of a football. I’ve seen it!
You can only imagine how folks were taking cover in Norman, Oklahoma last week when a hail storm rolled through and caused severe damage to a local Walmart. Luckily, it was caught on tape. Check it out!
