Anytime you hear a story about a dog or any type of animal that has been malnourished, emaciated, and abandoned it absolute breaks all of our hearts. Dan and Abby Smyers have come along and provided some much needed care and fostering to a needy dog in Nashville recently. Along with the help of Wags and Walks Nashville and Metro Animal Care and Control in Nashville, they have been helping Winnie get back to a much healthier state since giving birth to pups. Dan posted some pictures and videos of the process and it absolutely warms my heart.
