The 2020 CMA Nominations were announced Tuesday, Sept 1, and some major names didn’t make the list.
Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, and Jason Aldean were shut out of the nominations along with Kelsea Ballerini and Kane Brown.
Both Kane and Kelsea took the high road on Twitter. Kelsea Ballerini eluded to the last time she was left out of the nominations saying that her hit song “Homecoming Queen” was inspired by the disappointment.
last time this happened, I wrote homecoming queen the next day about the feeling. something beautiful will undoubtedly come from the current disappointment. nonetheless, congratulations to my friends & peers that got nominations. proud to be a part of the country family, always.
