Out of tragedy comes true triumph. For Miranda Lambert, that comes courtesy of her fans, who have helped to raise $80,000 for animals impacted by the devastating tornado that swept through Middle Tennessee a couple short weeks ago (March 3rd).
Lambert took to the social media platform Twitter this week to thank her fans for raising the large sum of money for animals impacted by the tornado…
I always say country music fans are the best. This is why. Y’all helped raise over $80k for animals impacted by the TN tornado. That went above & beyond our goal! Thx for helping us take care of so many fur babies & to @muttnation @TractorSupply & @joingenerous for matching funds pic.twitter.com/xEY0GmQpTI

“I always say country music fans are the best. This is why,” the “Mama’s Broken Heart” singer says, also saying that her charity, MuttNation, as well as Tractor Supply and Join Generous have matched the funds raised.
Along with the country music community, other’s quickly came together with singers such as Brandi Carlile and Ashley McBryde headlining a tornado relief concert. Taylor Swift also stepped in and donated $1 million, while Chris Young donated $50,000 and Dan + Shay supported the efforts with a donation of $100,000.
