When did you have to start doing chores around the house?

I remember helping out around the house by putting my toys away and making my bed but it wasn’t until around 4th or 5th grade that I got my official chore duties.

I promptly used this as an excuse to ask for an allowance at the same time.  Hey, a girl’s gotta negotiate.

This grandma has started her grandson really young though…9 months old and he’s doing the dishes.
