Last night CMT honored the Artist of the Year including Kane Brown and Thomas Rhett

During Kane’s speech he dedicated his honor to his late drummer who died in a car accident over the weekend. In a touching moment Chris Young performed his song “Drowning” in his honor. Watch here.

Moved by the performance and speech Thomas Rhett later asked to lead the audience in prayer.

“I don’t know if this is very conventional, but can I just pray?”
