Famed TV producer Steven Bochco has died at age 74. Bocho, whose credits include such groundbreaking shows as Hill Street Blues, NYPD Blue and L.A. Law, had been battling a rare form of leukemia for several years, according to reports. The winner of four Peabody awards and 10 Emmys is survived by his wife, a son and a daughter.
ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER’s heart got a little fixer-upper last Friday. TMZ reports the action star checked into Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for a catheter valve replacement, but things didn’t go as planned so a surgery team had to open up his chest. Arnold originally had a valve replaced back in 1997 due to a congenital heart defect, it outlived it’s life expectancy and he’s in stable condition. In fact, his first words upon waking were: “I’m back.”
TAYLOR SWIFT did a surprise concert Saturday night in Nashville, for around 40 people. The Tennessean newspaper says she showed up at the Bluebird Cafe to sing a few tunes and tell a few stories with songwriter CRAIG WISEMAN. The Bluebird was one of the first places Taylor performed when she got started so it was a real homecoming show.
MANDY MOORE crossed a huge item off her bucket list. The “This Is Us” star revealed on Instagram that she climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, said she’s “dreamed the dream” since the tender age of 18 and admits that reaching the peak was “more emotional and overwhelming than I though possible.” Mandy also tells followers that: “There’s nothing more empowering than realizing that we are all capable of so much more than we give ourselves credit for.”
Brett Eldredge has established the Brett Eldredge Family Foundation in support of pediatric cancer research and patients. He made the initial donation of $60,000 from proceeds of his An Evening With Brett Eldredge holiday show last year to Monroe Carrell Jr. Children’s Hospital.
