Maybe you know me, maybe you don’t. I’m James Ace and I’ve been happy to call Hampton Roads my home since 1989. I’m a proud graduate of Ocean Lakes High School and Old Dominion University. When my family moved to Virginia Beach, we started our own business. When I wasn’t in school, I spent a lot of time helping out my nana with deliveries, and she always had country music playing in the car. It’s hard to hear George Strait, Reba McEntire and Garth Brooks and not fall in love with country music. That’s how it all started.
Fast forward and here I am, playing those same songs on a station that I used to listen to growing up! Dreams do come true, and I learned that even more when I met my beautiful wife Pam, not too long after I started working for the Eagle. Now I have a wonderful family with children that have two legs and four legs. I am a huge Redskins fan, and always support my Monarchs in whatever sport they’re playing in! I am also a huge comic book nerd, and can talk for hours about TV. I am so lucky to have so much joy in my life.
In the words of Old Dominion, “Life is short, make it sweet!”
